<description>I represent a company that has a plan that we feel will work well for rebuilding Haiti. There is great a need for Haitians to play a major roll in rebuilding their country. They need to gain employment and they need quality and cost effective housing. They also need to have a say in keeping their culture intact. We have a plan that fills all of these needs. We are hoping that you can help.

LC Homes is a company that exports Panel Homes to over 80 countries. These panels are made of wood (not high tech materials) and meet or exceed both wind and seismic requirements as prescribed in the US Building Codes for Tropical Regions. These Panel Homes are shipped in panels in ocean containers and are easily constructed. Local Haitians can build these homes themselves with some training. All homes are high quality, engineered and built in the US. These Panel Homes were erected as part of the rebuilding after hurricane Katrina. We have also exported homes to Haiti in the past. We can design homes that fit the local cultural needs as well.

LCH Panel Homes have vinyl trim with different types of siding. The homes range from 400 Sq Ft (37 Sq Meters) - 1,300 Sq Ft (120 Sq Meters) with an option to add rooms later (homes smaller than 400 sq ft can also be designed). Cost starts at $26/sq&#039; ($2.42/sq meter) includes kitchen, bathroom, electrical and plumbing (units can also be built without electrical or plumbing for a lower cost). Depending on the floor plan, two to three homes fit into an ocean container to reduce freight costs. The floor plans for the 400 Sq Ft home cost $10,400 ex factory. There are 3 files for the 400sq ft homes. One file is for a 1 large bedroom, another for a 2 bedroom home and the third file is the elevation for both floor plans.

Please contact me for details as to the various options such as solar power for hot water and lights.
