Hello,
I recently retired from practicing as a physician in Port-au-Prince, Haiti(after the earthquaque). I am currently living with my 2 daughters in long beach,NY, permanently and was wondering if you have a volunteer program. I am interested in helping my community and would be glad if you would give me that opportunity. I just want to stay active and continue to do at some level what all my life i have been doing: Helping others either by treating, advising, or teaching them.
We are a group of law enforcement pilots/officers trying to get to Haiti with no success.
We are desperatly seeking a way to coordinate with a sponsor so that we can lease a helicopter to go to Haiti and assist in the rescue/aid efforts.
We’re sure there may be people who would give us the helicopters for free (to lease) but even still, we can easily get them via donations. We have a 501c3 status non for profit law enforcement aviation organization to accept funds but do not have the contacts to get there and represent an organization of group such as yours.
Please help us get there to save the lives of our Brothers.

Hello,
I’m a recent college graduate with a BA in Political Science and French. I would like to attend law school in the near future. I also speak creole. I wondered if the organization needs an intern or has any other employment opportunities. I’m extremely interested in the work you do for the Haitian community in New York and I feel I could learn a great deal if given the opportunity.
