Maternal Infant Health (MIH)

MIH provides outreach services to pregnant women and children. A team of health professionals work with women and their families to promote a healthier pregnancy and healthy start for their baby. Services offered include but are not limited to breastfeeding, safe sleep, nutrition and chronic disease workshops, family planning referrals and case management. Workshops are held by certified professionals which include a Nutritionist, Social Worker, and Registered Nurse.

 

COVID-19 Access and suppoRT Initiative (CASI)

The COVID-19 Access and Support Initiative (CASI) provides COVID-19 related outreach and education to the Brooklyn Haitian and Caribbean communities. The initiatives connects community members with vaccine information, vaccination points, and can set appointments for individuals. Connecting with the community will be done through education, messaging, outreach and more in the areas that HAUP serves
