Some of our after-school staff and office administrators!

Haitian-Americans United for Progress (HAUP) formally introduced today its satellite office in Brooklyn, NY. The new office, located at 1760 Nostrand Ave (between Ave D and Clarendon Ave) is just a heartbeat away from the center of Haitian community activities.

HAUP has for years provided services in Brooklyn that have benefitted over 400 people. These services include two after-school programs, respectively at P.S. 241 in Crown Heights and P.S. 189 in Brownsville. A total of 300 children benefit from these programs.

Additionally, HAUP provides a variety of services to the developmentally disabled in Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island and the Bronx. The Brooklyn caseload is comprised of about 85 individuals who will be in closer proximity of the staff assigned to the Brooklyn office.

Let us note that HAUP's services are offered to any eligible resident of the boroughs in which it operates. They are not limited to Haitians.

The new office opened its doors to the public on July 11, 2017. Hours of operation will be from 10am to 6 pm  Monday through Friday and from 10am to 4 pm on Saturdays

In addition to the aforementioned services HAUP's menu of direct services will include:
